ABOUT ME:
I am a documentary producer and editor who tells stories about the people and communities working towards a better world. I started out at Brooklyn’s BRIC TV, covering climate activism, green jobs, and workers’ rights stories, before returning to the Northwest to freelance. Raised on a Puget Sound island, I now translate my love for Northwest waters and lands into frequent visual storytelling about conservation, environmental justice, and connection to nature. My work has been honored by the New York Emmys and the Telly Awards, and I have been a participant in Next Gen Radio, the Redford Center and IF/Then Shorts’ Nature Connection Pitch at MountainFilm, and the Charles Snowden Program for Excellence in Journalism.
I am a graduate of the University of Oregon's Multimedia Journalism Master's program and also received degrees in Film and Religion from Middlebury College.
